This line delivery has been living rent-free in my head since the episode aired. The way he can’t believe she didn’t know because loving her is all he’s ever known and he was always showing it! The way she couldn’t see it because she’s always believed he could never feel the same way about her that she does for him! The way chris and lola acted the hell out of this scene!
Becky’s reaction to Damianya is great because she perfectly encapsulates the universal sentiment of “your amazing beautiful sweet goddess best friend is inexplicably in love with Some Random Guy, and that Random Guy is kind of an asshole so you don’t like him, but whatever makes her happy I guess. So you politely don’t go off insulting Random Guy in front of her because she likes him for whatever reasons. You don’t really care about the guy, but you have to keep on nudging him in the right direction because he’s an oblivious idiot. And you end up being a shipper while hoping your best friend heals and gets better taste.”
